Charter Electric is scheduling interviews now for a service technician in the Tampa Bay area. We are a very small, fast growing company looking to grow, but we don’t just hire anyone. This is a Full time Mon-Fri position.
The compensation will start at $15 to $20/hour plus spiffs, during training depending on work experience, then straight commission based pay plus bonuses with a tremendous potential for increased pay and benefits. Bonus structure includes $25 dollars for every $1,000 sold.

If you made it this far, Here is what we have to offer you:
• You will be trained on how WE do electrical service in residential homes and small businesses.
• You will be trained in safety and customer service. Our training system will get you up to speed quickly. It is up to you how fast you advance in our company.
• You will be trained in our company culture so you can become a positive influence on our awesome team, and so that our team can influence you and help you succeed at work and in your personal life.
• You will start as a junior field technician and will be paid an hourly rate ranging from $15 to $20 per hour based on work experience. Your goal will be to quickly become a senior field technician, where you can earn 20% commission plus bonuses and spiffs. At this stage other
benefits kick in.
• If you have substantial experience running residential & commercial service (2 years) and a certificate of completion at an electrical school, we may be able to start you at the full position of senior technician with a brief 90 probation and onboard training with our systems.
• Most trainees reach senior field technician after 1 year.
The basic requirements for this job are as follows:
• You Must have a graduation certificate from a trade school or technical college. We only hire serious A-players who want a career in the electrical business who want to make the big bucks. If making a 6-figure income excites you or becoming a manager or business owner some day gets you fired up to work hard every day then you found the right place…, but you have to know what you’re doing. That means you have to have an education to do this type of work. If you
don’t have a certificate, go get one and then give me a call. We are ALWAYS recruiting hungry,
hard working guys who wanna WIN, and guys who wanna make a 6-figure income.
• Must be willing to work more than 40 hours a week. Our operating hours are 8 to 6. I promise,
anyone who makes 6 figures works more than 40 hours a week.
• Must be a VERY GOOD COMMUNICATOR!!! If you are bad at communicating with your manager
or your customers you will NOT make it in this business I promise you.
• Must be able to lift over 90lbs easily and be able to carry ladders safely.
• Must not be afraid of heights and should be comfortable on roofs, in bucket trucks and working on
electrical equipment indoors and outdoors in attics and crawl spaces.
• MUST be willing to TAKE CONTINUED EDUCATION to learn the code updates every 3 years.
• Must have a WINNING ATTITUDE. If all you want is to just get by, this IS NOT the job for you. In
other words, if it doesn’t bother you to lose this IS NOT the job for you. We only hire
WINNERS!! Guys who LOVE TO WIN !! If this sounds like a winner job for you then follow up
with us because we like to hire GOOD ATTITUDES. We can teach you the rest.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must not be a jerk. In other words DO WHAT YOU SAY. YOUR WORD has to MEAN SOMETHING.
So if you don’t keep your WORD this isn’t the job for you. We only hire people with good core
values. So if you like to lie, cheat, steal and have are a criminal, don’t waste our time.
